Obituary of Patricia Mary Thul

THUL, Patricia (nee Devine)

Just shy of her 82nd birthday, Pat passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023.

Preceded in death by husband, Bob, parents, Raymond and Dorothy, brother Jack, and sister Jean.

She is survived by her children: Lori (Dave) Breyer, Mary (Dave) Schwarz, Bill (Kay) Thul, and Dave (Heather) Thul, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Pat grew up in St. Paul, MN attending St. Joseph’s Academy and the University of St. Catherine University. Pat and Bob married at St. Columba Church in St. Paul in 1961 and had four children.

An avid artist, gardener, and volunteer, she was loved by many. Her love of art was evident through her Calligraphy, painting, and music - she sang and played guitar at St. Therese church for many years. After moving to Minnetonka to raise their kids, Pat and Bob met more friends along the way in San Diego, Anacortes, WA, and Eureka, CA before eventually making their way back to Minnesota in 2018.

She is now reunited in Heaven with the love of her life, Bob, with whom she shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. The family would like to extend a huge thank you to the staff at New Perspectives & St. Croix Hospice.

A mass will be held at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Oakdale on April 24, 2023 at 11 am, with a visitation at 10:30 am.
